A GRADE (70-100%)
- Report format;
- Clear understanding of current approach to management and/or leading;
- Clear understanding of the theory of critical management studies (CMS);
- Application of critical theory to expose a situation of oppression, marginalisation or subjugation in an organisation/industry;
- Evidence of wide reading and appropriate use of sources;
- A good standard of writing, (grammar, spelling and sentence construction);
- Conventional Harvard style referencing throughout;
B GRADE(60-69%)
- Report format;
- Clear understanding of current approach to management and/or leadership;
- Clear understanding of critical theory;
- Evidence of wide reading and appropriate use of sources;;
- A good standard of writing;
- Conventional Harvard style referencing throughout.
C GRADE (50-59%)
- Follows the guidelines for the assignment;
- Demonstrates some understanding of current approach to management and/or leading;
- More descriptive than analytical;
- Evidence of reading;
- Some referencing;
- List of references in Harvard style.
D GRADE (43-49%)
- Structure is evident, but paper lacks coherent focus;
- Some theory included;
- Some evidence of reading;
- Poor critical understanding;
- Poor referencing
E GRADE (40-42%)
- Poor structure
- Little evidence of understanding current managerial/leadership theoretical approaches;
- Little evidence of understanding critical theory;
- Little evidence of reading and poor referencing; Poor referencing;
FAIL (25-29%)
- Poor structure- essay style paper;
- No evidence of reading;
- No evidence of understanding management/leadership/CM theory;
- No referencing.
